Shipment Status Report

The Shipment Status Report provides a high level overview of every site shipment made in the system for a study and the status of the shipments. It is recommended to periodically monitor Shipment Status Report and follow-up with the Drug Supply Coordinator on outstanding shipments greater than 10 days. Most out of drug situations are usually resolved as soon as the shipment is acknowledged in the system. NOTE: Shipments must be declared Fit for Use before they can be received in the system.

  1. Shipment Status – Shipments on the report are sorted by their shipment status. "Received" shipments are those shipments that have been received by site personnel in the system. Shipments showing up under the "Shipped" status still are in route to the site or acknowledgement of the received shipment has not been recorded.

  2. Shipment Information – The shipment information contains the Shipment Number, number of packages on the shipment, type of shipment, and the date shipment number was created in the system. The Shipment Number is the number the site will enter into the system to acknowledge the receipt of the shipment.

  3. Receipt Information – This field will remain blank indicating the shipment is still in "shipped status" and has not arrived at the site or the site did not acknowledge the receipt of the shipment in the system. When the shipment is received the date and user ID of the individual who acknowledged the receipt of the shipment in the system will be populated.
