The Authorize Site Users functionality is used on IWRS studies to grant site personnel access to the assigned study and site. Site personnel will still be able to access the IWRS but they will not be able to select the study until their account has been authorized.

When the Authorize Site Users option is selected the following screen will appear showing all sites that have outstanding users for the study that need to be authorized. The system will allow you to select any site from the list, but it is important you only select those sites that you are responsible.

Click on the in the View Users column to select a site.

When you select the site a listing of all users that need to be authorized are displayed on the screen. Select the users you want to authorize in the Select User column and press the Authorize button. NOTE: It is important to ensure the name and email address are correct for each user.

A new screen will come up summarizing the accounts you are about to authorize. After reading the electronic signature meaning you will need to enter Lilly system ID and password, and press the Verify button to process the request.

You will be returned to the main Authorize Site User menu so you can process another site. If there are no other sites with outstanding users that need to be authorized the following screen will appear.
